Calico Skies

I wanted to try something totally different
for the engagement video of Mike and Annette.

We're always trying to make slideshows
that wedding guest will want to sit through.

My idea was to use the sky and grass as blue and green screens.
The trick was to keep it from becoming one of those 80's photos
where the subject's face is randomly floating above them.



And how cute is the last home video of little Annette?

it has been a complete pleasure
getting to know this sweet couple
and hear their love story...

it's different than any couple
i've ever known and that makes
their engagement
that much more special.

important side notes:

1- i was amazed/completely
jealous of her rockin' legs!
(whistle whistle)

2- girls; try really hard not
to be too envious of her fabulous
anthropologie coat....i wish i wish.

3- she has a blog...that i now
read...all. the. time.

in conclusion:
i get to take pictures of them.
dave gets to film them.
lucky us.

Carmen and Jared's Proposal
