Life Histories

We've recently been working hard to complete a brochure to help clients and families create life histories on video. We've worked with historians and studied story telling techniques. We've also come up with an affordable price list for those who are looking to have a life history professionally filmed and edited.

You can also download the brochure. Feel free to share this as you'd like, but please respect our copyright.

We'd love to hear what you think and happy to share our advice for those who are considering doing something like this for themselves or their relatives.

Ardeth Celano

This was a really fun project to work on! A friend of ours (Kathy) came to us a week before her mom's 80th birthday, and asked if we could put together a video to surprise her at the party. Kathy wanted a few photo montages and everyone in the family to wish her a happy birthday via video. Next thing I know I'm getting home videos emailed to me from family members all over the country. You think you have a big family, think again! With only a week to get this project completed, we had to work really fast. We finished and burned the DVD a few hours before the party began, and felt a huge sigh of relief. Until 7pm, when Kathy calls me at home saying the DVD doesn't work, and everyone is sitting in the living room waiting for it to begin.Apparently something happened during the burning process of the DVD, and it didn't work. The only time we didn't test the DVD before (because of time constraints), and it doesn't work! What are the odds? So I rush downtown from Sandy, burn another DVD, and bring it to the party in Holladay!
Good Times......
